WHY I BUILT THIS
The systems that save businesses can save families too.
I have spent 16 years going under the hood of businesses, finding what only lives in someone's head and building the systems that let it live somewhere else. What I realized is that the same problem destroying businesses is also destroying families.
My sister is a full-time caregiver for her son, who cannot walk, talk, or eat. Everything he needs lives in her head. Her husband knows pieces. My parents know less. If something happened to her tomorrow, the people who love her son most would not know how to care for him the way she does.
My husband is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Before he left the service, I used to have nightmares about what would happen if they knocked on my door. Even now, I ask him: what is the mortgage login? Where are the insurance documents? What happens to our boys if something happens to us?
You cannot have peace if the system is still in your brain and nowhere else. That is true for a business. It is just as true for a life.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone whose family depends on knowledge that only lives in them.
MEDICAL CAREGIVERS
The medical parent or caregiver.
Medication schedules, dosages, specialists, dietary needs, communication methods, and emergency protocols. If that information only lives in you, your family is one bad day away from a crisis. The Life Brief gets it out.
MILITARY FAMILIES
The military spouse before deployment.
Before your partner leaves, someone needs to know how the household runs. The bills, the maintenance, the kids' schedules, the passwords, the insurance. The Life Brief is the transfer before the goodbye.
LIFE TRANSITIONS
The person planning ahead through a hard diagnosis.
Planning does not mean giving up hope. It means giving peace. Getting everything out of your head so the people you love have what they need, no matter what the future looks like. You keep fighting. They stay prepared.
HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT
Anyone juggling everything alone in their head.
The school tournaments, the doctor appointments, the birthday gifts, the anniversaries, the house maintenance, the recurring bills. If your household slows down when you slow down, you have a single point of failure. And you are it.
WHAT IS INSIDE
Two parts. One goal: get it out of your head.
PART A · LIFE ORGANIZATION
Running your household without it running you.
Household routines and how they get done, documented so anyone can step in
Kids' schedules, school contacts, activities, pickups, and appointments
Grocery orders, meal preferences, dietary needs, and family food rules
Home maintenance: filters, appliances, vendors, and service schedules
Travel preparation checklists and packing routines
Birthdays, anniversaries, and recurring family commitments
House manager onboarding: everything a new helper needs to run things right
PART B · LIFE CONTINUITY
Everything your family needs if you are no longer available.
Financial accounts, logins, institutions, and account numbers
Insurance documents and where to find them
Estate documents: will, power of attorney, beneficiary designations
Medical care plans, medications, providers, and emergency contacts
Special care instructions for children or family members with complex needs
Recipes, rituals, and the things only you know, the ones that matter most
What you want your family to know. How you want them to carry this forward.
"CAN'T I JUST DO THIS MYSELF?"
A list is a start. It is not a system.
You could write all of this down yourself. Most people begin to, then stall, because getting it out of your head is the easy part. The structure, the security, and the handoff are what actually make it work when someone needs it.
01
The questions you don't think to ask.
You will write down where the mortgage is. You will forget the two-factor code that goes to your phone, the backup payment method, and the one button that breaks every month. I know what a complete SOP needs because I have built thousands. The gaps you can't see are the ones that cause the crisis.
02
Built, stored, and actually findable.
A pile of notes is not a system. Someone has to turn it into clear, repeatable instructions, then store them somewhere your family can find, follow, and trust while they are under stress. Recording it, organizing it, and making it usable is the difference between information and a plan.
03
Secure, and seen only by the right people.
Not everything belongs in the same place. Passwords should not live loose in a document. Some people get the recipes, not the financial accounts. Who has access, what stays in a protected vault, and what gets shared is designed in from the start, not bolted on after.
These are a few of the considerations we built into Part A and Part B. The emotional weight is real. So is the structure underneath it.
THE THREAD
Knowledge transfer is not just for business. It is for every life worth living.
I built the SOP Suite to get the knowledge out of a founder's head and into a system that can run without them. The Life Brief is the same principle applied to the most important system you run: your life, your family, your household.
If you do not transfer the knowledge, no one can carry it forward. That is true whether you are stepping back from a business or stepping back from your life.
Close the tabs in your brain. Give your family peace.

HELP SHAPE THIS PRODUCT
I built the framework. Help me make sure it is complete.
The Life Brief is built. The framework exists. The templates are done. Before it launches, I want to sit down with three people who are living the reality this product is built for and find out: is anything missing? Are we asking the right questions? Is there a critical section that should be included that we have not thought of?
If you are a military spouse, a medical parent or caregiver, or someone who has helped a loved one through a difficult transition, I would love 45 minutes with you. Your perspective will help make this product more complete before it launches.
This is not a sales call. It is a conversation. Everyone who participates receives the product at no charge when it launches on July 4.
WHY ME
I am tired of watching people carry things they were never meant to carry alone.
I am a CPA, a Lean Six Sigma practitioner, and a former KPMG auditor. I have been building systems for businesses for 16 years. I am also a military spouse, the daughter of a woman who sat with her father as he was dying and tried to get everything in order, and the sister of a medical mom who carries more in her head than any one person should have to hold.
The work I do for businesses is the same work I want to do for families. Get the knowledge out. Build the system. Make sure it can go on without you. The stakes are different. The peace on the other side is just as real.
